I started this picture months ago when I had just come up with a space alien race. They would be arboreal and able to feel other peoples emotions as well as seeing in ultraviolet and infrared. They had space travel and other technology but preferred to have as little impact on the environment as possible. This picture took so much work and detail that I burned out and stopped working on it.

By the time I started up again his weekend I had a name for the race, Tavni, and a story involving one. The three major color variations are represented here, the one in the foreground is a northerner, they come in blue and light grey, the one in the hot tub with his eyes open is the typical coloration of a jungle dweller, tan. His charming companion is either a junglie or a northerner, and the mother and child in the background are the darker furred southerners who are dark brown or dark grey. Their snake like tail are really a hand, an eyeball and a small brain that keeps watch when they are sleeping and grips things when they need an extra hand.

I know this picture is large and may take a long time to load, but I wanted some of the detail to show.
